Lake Martin is located in Tallapoosa, Coosa and Elmore Counties in the state of Alabama. It is a large lake with over 750 miles of wooded shoreline. Lake Martin Alabama is a popular recreation area. The lake was formed after the completion of Martin Dam on the Tallapoosa River. It is one of the largest man-made lake in the world.
